2008 Activity Schedule

APRIL
25-27 WELCOME BACK — The “2008” camping season is here! Join us on Saturday with a “Welcome Back Pot Luck Supper” in the Valley Pub. Please bring a dish to pass.
MAY
2-4 BILLIARD TOURNAMENT — Saturday afternoon. Call or sign up in office to register yourself or your team. Prizes for the winners!
9-11 MOTHER'S DAY—Make MOM a surprise gift on Saturday. Special gift drawing for one special MOM. Mother & Daughter Look-A-Like contest. Free coffee and donut for MOM on Sunday morning.
16-18 HAWAIIAN LUAU — Aloha! Dress code is wild Hawaiian shirts. Please bring a sidedish or dessert to pass at our pig roast dinner.
23-26 MEMORIAL WEEKEND— Antique Tractor Pull Saturday. Volleyball Tournament on Sunday. Outdoor movies. 3 night minimum.
30-1 POKER WALK—A campground favorite. Come to meet neighbors and friends. Call or stop in to register or to be a host site.
JUNE
6-8 SWEETHEART—Kids games and crafts. Crowning of CV’s King & Queen and Sweetheart Dinner for two Saturday evening. ($ advance reservations by 6-1-08 please).
13-15 FATHER'S DAY—Make DAD a surprise gift on Saturday. Special gift drawing for one special DAD. Father & Son Look-A-Like contest. Free coffee and donut for DAD on Sunday morning. Kids make Dad a surprise gift.
20-22 ROCK-N-ROLL—Rock-A-Round Cedar Valley. Tie-dye activities. Kids bring something to tie-dye or purchase a basic tee shirt. Root beer floats Saturday afternoon.
27-29 ST. PATRICK'S—Everyone is Irish this weekend. The most "green" person will win a prize. Corned beef special available in the Valley Pub & Restaurant. Hunt for the Pot of "Gold". Kids Lucky Bingo.
JULY
3-5 JULY 4th CELEBRATION—Kid’s Red, White & Blue Bike Parade. Horseshoe and Volleyball Tournament. 6th Annual CV Beer Belly Race (adults & kids). Outdoor movies. Craft/Rummage sale...bring your arts and crafts and set up shop on your site. 3 night minimum.
11-13 KEWAUNEE TROUT FESTIVAL—Camp with us while you attend the 36th Annual Trout Festival in Kewaunee. Trout boils, arts & crafts and a huge parade.
18-20 KEWAUNEE COUNTY FAIR—Enjoy four fun-filled days at the fairgrounds while you camp at Cedar Valley. Kids saturday scavenger hunt and challenge course. Parents see if you can keep up with the kids!
25-27 CHRISTMAS IN JULY—Ho Ho Ho! It's Christmas in July! Decorate your campsite. Prizes awarded to the best decorated campsite! Santa will make a visit. Join us as we sing Christmas carols with Saturday evening wagon rides.
AUGUST
1-3 COUNTRY WESTERN / CORN ROAST—We’ll do the cooking at our country corn roast. Sign up in the office to bring a homemade dish to pass. Get a little more country at the Valley Pub. Line dancing Saturday evening.
8-10 LAS VEGAS NIGHT— Join us at our 2nd Annual Casino Night in the Valley Pub. Texas Hold'em, Blackjack, Dog Racing, and more. Use your winnings to buy merchandise at our auction afterwards. Shanty Days in Algoma.
15-17 ELVIS TRIBUTE— Join us for an Elvis look-a-like contest. Elvis’ music and a spectacular live performance from the KING himself!
22-24 NEW YEAR'S EVE—Celebrate and be there when the ball drops at midnight. Hats, horns, fun and excitement for all!
29-1 LABOR DAY—6th Annual MODIFIED LAWN MOWER PULL Saturday. Annual Seasonal Auction Sunday. Outdoor Movies. Family Treasure Hunt. 3-night minimum.
SEPTEMBER
5-7 SEASONAL MEETING—Sign up in office. Bring a dish to pass for the seasonal meeting. Come and see what is planned for the 2009 season.
12-14 POKER WALK—A campground favorite. Come to meet neighbors and friends. Call or stop in to register or to be a host site.
19-21 HALLOWEEN—Participate in the Halloween campsite-decorating contest. Kids Costume Contest (funniest, most original and scariest) with Trick or Treat to follow. Pumpkin carving contest. Saturday evening adult costume contest and dance—PRIZES!
26-28 SEASONS CHANGE—Fall is here! Take a quiet walk along the river to enjoy the beautiful colors at Cedar Valley!
OCTOBER
3-5 OKTOBERFEST—Dark beers and famous brats available in the Valley Pub/Restaurant.
10-12 CLOSING WEEKEND— We thank you for a GREAT season! Come join us Saturday evening to say good-bye to the 2008 season.
